Lesbian friendship/relationship drama!? - Discuss Everything Forum

I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for the last two months. I'm still checking things out.. still checking her out, and what she's all about. I'm a domestic lesbian. She is a radical lesbian.

My girlfriend: She tries to remain friends with everyone she has dated or has been sexually intimate with. They come over and sleep in her bed! (I'm serious) She says nothing happens, that they are just friends. They come over to her place and watch a movie, have some dinner, go out for drinks, chat on the phone... or, maybe, play some PS2. Even when she states that they have treated her disrespectfully in the past (or present) she still attempts to cling to the friendship part of it. She believes that this type of behaviour is perfectly fine 'normal' I believe that it is flat out disrespectful and (weirder than I am) towards me. We live 2 hours away. We don't see each other as often as we'd like.

Myself: I do not have sexual relationships with my 'friends' nor could I ever date them. Once the sexual intimacy has been a factor, there are certain lines that have been crossed and I never end up 'friends' with my ex's after wards. If I pass them on the street or at a party (which I'm never at) I am civil towards them. I usually go my own way while thanking them for the beautiful gifts have been offered on my jouney

Today: While on the phone my girlfriend tells me that a friend is coming over (an ex) to play some games and chat. She never bothered to ask me how I felt about this. I offered my feelings. That it does upset me. In fact, it hurts me. Maybe I am insecure about all of this. Maybe I am a little jealous, I'm not too proud to admit it!

Hmmm: Should I end this relationship? What is your opinion? Everyone is entitled to answer!

Thank you for your words, truths, and beliefs.
